Data Collection:

The setting for this study is the Chitwan Valley situated in the southern plain of Nepal. The data for this study came from the Chitwan Valley Family Study and Population and Environment Study collected from 1805 households (1475 farming households) in 1996. The dependent variable I used in this research is household migration decision. The individual who are away from their house is considering as migrant individual. Other households are considering as non-migrant households. In my research analysis, relative deprivation is the major independent variables in terms of acquired agricultural land for cultivation, absence of domestic products in the households, non-family work, and damage of cultivated commodities. I also use education level of the household as a factor analyzing for measuring household decision for migration. Due to large data set, I used first 100 households in this research topic as my sample analysis.
